Looking back at 2024 and Highlights for 2025

The new year has only just begun and we look back on 2024 with joy - a year full of milestones and joint successes. At the same time, we are looking forward to 2025, which offers us many new opportunities and highlights.

2024: A year full of milestones

Last year saw numerous successes, both big and small, that shaped us as the Börsenvereinsgruppe. A particular highlight was, of course, the Frankfurter Buchmesse - an event that is always a highlight for all companies in the Group and in which many colleagues are involved. As a team from the HR department, we were also actively involved there, taking part in events, making new contacts and experiencing the energy of the book industry at first hand.

In addition to this major highlight, there were countless other moments that inspired and strengthened us - too many to list here. But it is precisely this variety of projects and experiences that makes working together in our group so special.

A big thank you to all our colleagues who made 2024 such a success with their commitment, passion and team spirit!

2025: A year full of anticipation

We are now looking ahead: the Leipziger Buchmesse is coming up in March - a spring highlight that always provides new impetus, celebrates the diversity of the book industry and in which we are once again involved with our teams. At the same time, preparations are already underway for the Frankfurt Book Fair in fall, which is traditionally a highlight of the year for us as a group.

But 2025 has another very special event in store for us: In June, we will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Börsenverein des deutschen Buchhandels! We will celebrate this impressive anniversary together with the industry with a major congress - an opportunity to look back on two centuries of commitment to book culture and at the same time dedicate ourselves to the future of the industry.

We are looking forward to a year that will once again offer us many opportunities to work together, celebrate successes, actively shape the industry and strengthen collaboration within our teams

Taking off together

Finally, a big thank you to Tim and Grace, who put their heart and soul into organizing our summer party and Christmas party this year. These joint events are not only a great opportunity for us as a team to look back on the past few months, but also a wonderful opportunity to have good conversations, get to know new colleagues and toast to us.

We are looking forward to what 2025 will bring - and to actively shaping the book world together with our colleagues!
